Due to limited capacity in the park all of our tickets sales are through our website. Please note any tickets purchased online will have a £1.75 transaction fee applied to the basket value. Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets are not refundable but if your booking is for more than 48 hours in advance you can request a transfer to a different date using our transfer request form.
Most of our equipment is adult friendly! Adults can have as much fun as the kids and they can use all of the equipment too! Indoors we ask for one adult to supervise their children and that usually calls for adults to enter the Indoor Adventure Playground themselves.
Active Kids is open daily from 9.30am – 4.30pm and you are welcome to enjoy our facilities during this period.
Our Indoor Adventure Park operates four 90 minute play sessions each day which start at 9.30am, 11.15am, 1pm and 2.45pm. Your pre-purchased ticket will allow entry into the session that you selected.
Our Outdoor Adventure Park tickets are valid for use all day from 9.30am – 4.30pm.
For our Outdoor Adventure Park, we always recommend dressing for the weather!
Indoors, children should wear long sleeves, long trousers and socks or indoor shoes when in the play area, to minimise the risk of friction burns or personal injury. Clothing with drawstring ties should not be worn.
We have toilet facilities both inside near our Indoor Adventure Play Area and Cafe as well as outside in the ADventure Park. Accessible toilets and nappy change stations are also available.
There is wheel chair access from the car park into the indoor area and throughout the Adventure Park, however visitors should be aware that the Adventure Park paths are not always flat surfaces.You are welcome to come and view the offering at Active Kids to see how this fits with your child’s capabilities before committing to a ticket purchase.
Yes this is acceptable to do so and we have plenty of picnic benches, shelters and grass space throughout the park to allow for picnic blankets. We do not allow barbecues outside or picnics in the café. We kindly ask that you only consume food and drink purchased from our café when enjoying our indoor space.
Yes, our café serves a wide selection of hot and cold food each day from 9.30am – 4.30pm. You can enjoy breakfast items, soups, toasties and baked potatos as well as sweet treats and hot and cold drinks.
We do try to accommodate different dietary requirements, however all our food is prepared where nuts, gluten and other allergens are present.

Sorry we only allow guide dogs for the blind into the Adventure Park. If you could ensure your assistance dog is wearing their respective identifying jacket we would appreciate that a lot.
There are many local dog walking trails nearby if one of your party would like to entertain your four-legged friend whilst others are in the adventure park. We ask that dogs are not left unattended in cars.
